Delhicious Foods was formed from very humble beginnings in 1994. It was formed by a husband and wife team, Kanwal and Vicky Sabherwal, whose idea was simple. They focused on their food quality and to ensure whatever was produced there was a home made taste to it, an ethos, which has served them well over the years.

Delhicious Foods was a sole trader until 2002, when it became Delhicious Foods Ltd. Since then it has grown into a very successful company and has a client portfolio including well established caterers, airlines, hotels and supermarkets.

Delhicious Foods started out from a small production kitchen in Buckinghamshire but as their popularity spread, as did the need for a bigger kitchen. In 1996, production was moved to a unit in west London, which was further expanded when they took on the next door unit a few years later.

In 2003, Delhicious Foods noticed that there was a growing demand for catering. With the company’s existing knowledge within the food sector, it was the perfect step in expanding the organisation. This has been an excellent venture. The response from clients has been overwhelming, so much so that Delhicious Foods have expanded their kitchens to cater for demand. Recently, a new purpose built catering facility has been completed so Delhicious Foods can operate on a larger scale.

The recipes are handed down to Vicky by her grandmother in Punjab but Vicky has adapted them to make them her own and through Vicky’s own knowledge of the food business from over the years she has made them mouth watering.

Today, Delhicious Foods has now become a full event management company, which can organise everything and anything required to ensure the success of any event for all occasions.

All recipes were obtained from Vicky’s extensive knowledge of food but the idea to form this business was an accident. Kanwal and Vicky had many parties at home with Vicky making all the food. With the response the food was getting, they thought they could turn it into a real business. With Kanwal’s business knowledge and Vicky’s exciting recipes, they formed Delhicious Foods.

Delhicious Foods started out from a kitchen in the Sabherwal family home in Buckinghamshire but as their popularity spread, as did the need for a bigger kitchen. Currently, Delhicious Foods still maintain their ethos: to produce quality home made food. The company has become the finest bespoke caterer’s in the market. From sensual cuisine, décor and event management Delhicious Foods endeavour to make sure every guest feels that they are ‘In the Presence of Brilliance’.

A full range of authentic traditional Indian snack foods are available from Delhicious Foods and they continue to come up with new and innovative products for the general consumer. With these new ideas, Delhicious Foods look to expand their name into other markets and continue to grow.
